Japanese convenience stores (Konbini) are special places where you can find exclusive limited-edition items. Starting from 10:00 AM on March 4, 2026, a special campaign will begin at 7-Eleven stores across Japan. By purchasing four eligible Asahi Beverage products, customers can receive one “Original Tomica” miniature truck (not for for-sale).
Tomica is an overwhelmingly popular die-cast toy car brand in Japan. This time, the lineup features limited-edition trucks designed after beverage brands that are household names in Japan. Since this is a limited-quantity promotion, a fierce “scramble” among collectors is expected.

Japan’s Leading Beverage Brands Unite! 4 Types of Limited Tomica
The campaign offers four types of trucks inspired by famous Asahi Beverage brands. Each truck meticulously reproduces the iconic colors and logos of the respective brands.
1. Mitsuya Cider Design

“Mitsuya Cider” is one of Japan’s oldest carbonated drinks, loved since the Meiji era (1884). This drink, known for its refreshing crispness, has been transformed into a mini car.
- Size: Approx. W30mm × H39mm × D85mm (Approx. 1.18 × 1.53 × 3.34 inches)
- Features: The vibrant green body features a large “Mitsuya” (Three Arrows) logo, a traditional Japanese symbol. It is a piece that encapsulates the refreshing image of a Japanese summer.
2. Calpis Design (Calpico)

“Calpis,” first released in Japan in 1919, is a popular lactic acid bacteria drink. It is also widely known overseas under the name “Calpico.”
- Size: Approx. W29mm × H37mm × D88mm (Approx. 1.14 × 1.45 × 3.46 inches)
- Features: The design features blue polka dots on a white body. This dot pattern is inspired by the “Milky Way” and evokes a nostalgic Japanese summer landscape. It is a highly iconic design.
3. Gungun Gurt α Sleep & Intestinal Care Design

“Gungun Gurt” is a probiotic drink that reflects Japan’s health-conscious culture.
- Size: Approx. W40mm × H30mm × D80mm (Approx. 1.57 × 1.18 × 3.14 inches)
- Features: A striking design with high contrast between red and white. It features a logo that conveys its strength as a “Food with Function Claims,” and the truck’s form has a somewhat cute finish.
4. Dodekamin Design

“Dodekamin” is a staple Japanese energy drink often consumed during work or study breaks.
- Size: Approx. W33mm × H36mm × D92mm (Approx. 1.29 × 1.41 × 3.62 inches)
- Features: An energetic design featuring orange, black, and flame graphics. The powerful image of the beverage, which contains 12 different ingredients, enhances the presence of this Tomica.
