Starting February 17, 2026, the popular annual “Kyushu Okinawa Fair” will be held at “NewDays” and “NewDays KIOSK,” convenience stores (konbini) located in major train stations across Eastern Japan.
This year’s theme is “Meat and Fruit Festival!” The Kyushu region and Okinawa Prefecture, located in southern Japan, are renowned as treasure troves of delicious meats and fruits. This fair features an impressive lineup of over 190 items using branded meats and seasonal fruits from across these regions.

The event runs for about one month, ending on Monday, March 16. Just by using Japanese train stations, you can easily enjoy a travel atmosphere and the local flavors of these regions.

Kyushu is home to high-quality “brand meats” raised in rich natural environments. This fair features a wide variety of sandwiches, onigiri (rice balls), and bento boxes that highlight the quality of these ingredients.
