The world-renowned character “Puppet Sunsun” is coming to 7-Eleven stores across Japan as a “Happy Kuji” starting May 29, 2026. Happy Kuji is a popular type of character lottery found in Japanese convenience stores (Konbini) where there are no “losing” tickets—you are guaranteed to win a prize with every draw.
Sunsun, the 6-year-old puppet from the puppet land of “Tuuhoku,” is an incredibly popular character with over 3 million total followers across social media. The highlight of this upcoming lottery is a lineup of luxurious items featuring “newly recorded voices” that allow fans to feel the daily life of Sunsun and his friends.
