To celebrate the broadcast of Season 2 of the hit TV anime “My Dress-Up Darling,” a much-anticipated “Aniplex Kuji” lottery will be launching at Lawson convenience stores across Japan, starting sequentially from Friday, December 12, 2025. This is your chance to win exclusive merchandise available only here, featuring the series’ beloved characters, including the heroine Marin Kitagawa.

For those overseas who might be unfamiliar, lottery-style prize draws for character goods, known as “kuji” in Japan, are incredibly popular. Japanese convenience stores, in particular, are major destinations for acquiring these limited-edition items. By purchasing a ticket for 880 yen, you are guaranteed to win a prize from one of the tiers, ranging from Prize A to Prize F. The thrill is that you won’t know what you’ve got until you open it. Furthermore, a unique feature is the “Last Prize,” a special gift awarded to the person who buys the very last ticket at the store.

“My Dress-Up Darling” tells the story of Wakana Gojo, a high school student who aims to become a “Kashirashi,” a master craftsman of traditional Hina doll heads. His life takes a turn when he meets Marin Kitagawa, a popular classmate with a passion for cosplay, and they begin creating cosplay outfits together. The series has captivated fans not only in Japan but also overseas with its beautiful animation, heartwarming story, and charming characters. This lottery is sure to be an unmissable collection for any fan.

This lottery will be available at Lawson stores nationwide in Japan for 880 yen (tax included) per ticket. Please note that the release date and start time may vary by store. The products are available only while supplies last, so if you’re interested, we recommend checking your local store early.
