A round rice ball made with a blend of glutinous barley and rice, mixed with savory wakame seaweed harvested from the Sanriku coast in northeastern Japan. Unlike plain white rice, the barley adds a pleasant, chewy texture. It is seasoned with just the right amount of salt from the seaweed.
