At Lawson, a popular “Konbini” (Japanese convenience store) chain in Hokkaido, Japan, a special campaign is launching to support the 2026 season opening of the professional baseball team, the “Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.” This “Fighters Opening Dash!” campaign is exclusive to members of Japan’s common loyalty programs, “Ponta Card” or “d Point Card.” By purchasing eligible products at Lawson stores across Hokkaido to collect stamps, participants can enter a lottery to win luxurious prizes, including a chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a professional game or receive hand-signed items from popular players.

How the Campaign Works: Collect Stamps and Apply for Luxury Prizes
In this campaign, participants present their loyalty card at the checkout. For every eligible product purchased, one “stamp” is earned.
The period for collecting stamps runs for approximately three weeks, from Tuesday, March 24, to Monday, April 13, 2026. Applications will be accepted starting from 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, until 11:59 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Since stamps are reflected in the app or website on the afternoon of the day following the purchase, the schedule allows plenty of time to apply, even for items bought on the final day. While this project is limited to Lawson stores within Hokkaido rather than nationwide, stamps can be collected at any branch within the prefecture. Prior entry (registration) is required to participate, but even if you register after making a purchase, stamps will be counted retroactively for all purchases made within the campaign period.
Daily Shopping Earns You Stamps: Eligible Products
The products eligible for stamps primarily include popular “Hot Snacks” found at Japanese Konbini and menus prepared in the store’s own kitchen. The lineup is designed to be convenient for daily lunches or snacks.
- Counter Foods: Fried foods sold in the case next to the register (such as “Karaage-kun” chicken nuggets), frankfurters, and Yakitori (skewered chicken).
- MACHI café: Freshly brewed coffee and specialty drinks served in-store.
- Machikado Chubo: Freshly prepared lunch boxes, Onigiri (Rice Balls), and sandwiches made in the store’s kitchen.
Please note that frozen foods, bread from the refrigerated section, and bread from the standard bakery aisle are excluded. Additionally, payments made through various delivery services or the Lawson Smartphone Register will not earn stamps. However, payments made at in-store self-checkout kiosks are eligible as long as the loyalty card is scanned.
