This time, the theme is “nighttime relaxation.” The collection is filled with irresistibly cute items featuring original art, exclusive to this Ichiban Kuji, of the Sumikko characters looking relaxed.
While “Ichiban Kuji” is a familiar sight in Japan, let me explain it for our readers overseas. It’s a type of prize lottery where you are guaranteed to win some form of character merchandise; there are no losing tickets. You can try the “Ichiban Kuji Sumikko Gurashi ~A Little Night Rest with Sumikko~” for 750 yen per ticket (tax included).
It will be released starting Saturday, December 20, 2025. You can find it at Konbini stores across Japan such as FamilyMart, Ministop, and Daily Yamazaki, as well as at bookstores, hobby shops, and official Ichiban Kuji stores.
Online sales are scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025.
