Co-developed with university students in Miyazaki Prefecture, this sweet pastry is inspired by Miyazaki’s beloved local treat, “cheese manju”—a baked pastry featuring a cookie crust stuffed with cheese. Smooth cheese cream is wrapped in bread dough infused with fragrant, pan-roasted green tea from Miyazaki, all baked over a crisp cookie crust at the base. Combining the calming, earthy aroma of green tea with the rich creaminess of cheesecake, it makes for a delightful and convenient ready-to-eat snack at room temperature.
