Japanese Konbini Lawson to Launch Noraneko Gundan Campaign on Feb 17

Lawson, one of Japan’s leading convenience store (konbini) chains, will launch a collaboration campaign with the popular picture book series “Noraneko Gundan” starting February 17, 2026. During this campaign, customers who purchase eligible bread products will receive limited-edition stickers. Additionally, original food items and SNS-based giveaways are planned.

“Noraneko Gundan” is a highly popular Japanese picture book series by Noriko Kudo. The series is beloved by both children and adults for the antics of eight mischievous stray cats and their signature “reflection” (hansei) scenes that follow their troublemaking.

First-Come, First-Served! Original Stickers with Purchase of Eligible Bread

Customers who purchase two eligible bread products (a popular type of snack in Japan) at participating stores can receive one “Original Sticker” on a first-come, first-served basis. There are six different designs in total, featuring the humorous expressions of the Noraneko cats.

• Start Date: Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 7:00 AM
• End Date: Until Monday, March 2, 2026 (or while supplies last)
• Quantity: 30 stickers per store (6 designs, 5 of each)
• Limit: Up to one of each design per transaction per customer (maximum of 6 stickers)

Since there are only five of each design available per store, it is recommended to visit early in the morning if you have a specific design in mind. Each sticker measures approximately 60 x 85 mm (about 2.4 x 3.3 inches), making them the perfect size to fit on the back of a smartphone case.

How to Identify Eligible Products

To get your sticker, look for products in the bread section with the “LAWSON’s Oshipan” logo on the packaging. Simply take two items with this mark and your choice of sticker to the register.

Hearty and Satisfying! Limited Edition “Large Koppe Custard & Whip”

To celebrate the campaign, a special bread item inspired by the gluttonous characters of Noraneko Gundan will be released.

“Koppe-pan” is a uniquely Japanese bread known for its soft, fluffy texture and is a staple of Japanese school lunches. This limited-edition version is filled with both rich custard cream and light whipped cream, making it a very substantial snack.
