An exciting new campaign is kicking off at 7-Eleven stores nationwide in Japan, themed around Nintendo’s hugely popular game series, “Super Mario Galaxy” and its sequel, “Super Mario Galaxy 2.” Convenience stores in Japan frequently run campaigns where customers can get exclusive anime and game merchandise with the purchase of specific products, making them unmissable events for fans.
This campaign is for a limited time, running from 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 27th, to Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. However, the giveaway will end as soon as the prizes run out, so we recommend checking it out early.
How to Participate in the Campaign?
Participation is very simple. All you have to do is purchase two eligible ice cream products at once. You’re free to mix and match, so you can also enjoy choosing your favorite ice creams. When you make your purchase, you’ll receive one exclusive A4 clear file at the register.
In Japan, “clear files” are more than just stationery; they are popular collector’s items printed with anime and game characters. Many fans collect clear files from their favorite series. This campaign is a perfect opportunity to experience this unique aspect of Japanese culture.
Five Original Clear File Designs in Total
There are five types of clear files available in this campaign. Each one features iconic artwork from “Super Mario Galaxy” and “Super Mario Galaxy 2.” Each store will only have 20 files in total (four of each design), so those aiming to collect them all might need to visit multiple locations.

Each design captures the grand-scale world of Mario’s vast space adventures, making them quality items that not just fans, but anyone would want to have. The size is A4 (W220mm x H310mm), perfect for organizing documents.
Introducing the Eligible Ice Creams
The campaign applies to four popular ice creams that have been loved in Japan for many years. You can easily find these products in-store as they will be marked with a special indicator.
