The beloved Sanrio character Pompompurin, a Golden Retriever boy, is celebrating his 30th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a special collaboration with “PASTEL,” the pioneer of smooth pudding in Japan, has been announced. Starting March 1, 2026, exclusive desserts will be available at Pastel locations and Japanese convenience stores (Konbini) such as 7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart across the country.
The theme for this collaboration is “Harapeko♪ Big Dream,” capturing the adorable world of Pompompurin and his love for eating plenty of pudding.

Limited Edition Baked Goods Available at Convenience Stores Nationwide
From March 3, 2026, limited-edition baked snacks will be released sequentially at convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Lawson throughout Japan. The packaging features designs inspired by a day in the life of Pompompurin.
1. Pompompurin’s Crispy Rusk (Pudding Flavor)
These rusks (twice-baked bread slices with a crunchy texture) will be available at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Lawson, and other stores nationwide. They are priced at 172 yen (approx. $1.15) per piece, with a 12-piece gift box available for 1,944 yen (approx. $13.00).

2. Pompompurin’s Fluffy Pudding Brownie
Mainly available at 7-Eleven and Lawson, these are rich chocolate brownies. The price is 240 yen (approx. $1.60) per piece, or 1,920 yen (approx. $12.80) for a box of eight.

Let’s Celebrate the 30th Anniversary Together!
The theme “Harapeko♪ Big Dream” expresses Pompompurin’s wish to grow even more.

As his birthday on April 16 approaches, the celebratory mood is rising throughout Japan. Customers who purchase collaboration items at Pastel stores will receive a limited-edition original shopper (paper bag).

Pompompurin is a Golden Retriever characterized by his dark brown beret. He loves the pudding his mother makes and is a representative icon of Japan’s “Kawaii culture.” If you are visiting Japan this spring, be sure to experience these special puddings at your local convenience store or Pastel shop!
