This collaboration with Akagi Nyugyo recreates the flavor of Kikyo Shingen Mochi, a traditional sweet from Yamanashi Prefecture. It features roasted soybean flour (kinako) flavored ice cream filled with chewy mochi and rich brown sugar syrup. The kinako provides a nutty aroma similar to roasted nuts, which pairs perfectly with the elastic texture of the mochi and the deep sweetness of the syrup. A uniquely Japanese treat, the mochi remains soft and enjoyable even straight from the freezer.
