This grilled rice ball was co-developed with students from Takamatsu Commercial High School. The rice is seasoned with bonito dashi and premium soy sauce from Shodoshima, one of Japan’s most famous soy sauce-producing regions. It features a savory-sweet simmered bonito filling and is finished with a soy-mayonnaise glaze before grilling. Enjoy the delightful contrast between the slightly firm exterior and the fluffy rice inside. It’s delicious whether enjoyed at room temperature or warmed in the microwave.
