To commemorate the broadcast of the second season of the TV anime “Ranma 1/2,” the much-anticipated second edition of the “Ichiban Kuji” lottery is set to be released sequentially starting from Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Lawson convenience stores and other locations all over Japan.
“Ranma 1/2” is a hugely popular martial arts romantic comedy by manga artist Rumiko Takahashi. The story of Ranma Saotome, a high school martial artist cursed to turn into a girl when splashed with water, and the slapstick daily lives created by the unique characters around him, continues to be loved by many fans across borders.
This “Ichiban Kuji” features a full lineup of charming and practical items that allow you to fully enjoy the world of “Ranma 1/2.”
What is “Ichiban Kuji”?
“Ichiban Kuji,” often seen in Japanese convenience stores, is a character-based lottery where every ticket is a winner—you’re guaranteed to get a prize. The excitement lies in not knowing which prize you’ll get until you draw. The “Last One Prize,” awarded to the person who buys the very last ticket, is a special item that attracts a lot of attention from fans.
